The Heritage Bear Company was founded in 2005, with a view to promoting hand crafted bears and bear artists from the United Kingdom. As teddy bear collectors, we found it increasingly difficult to find bears made in the U.K., and when we moved to our beautiful rural corner of South West Scotland, we found it even more difficult. Later the same year, we went to a bear festival and found that there were some very talented bear makers who were largely unrecognised. So we thought: "Would it not be a very good idea to let everyone else know how many beautiful bears there are in Scotland?" Then we found that there were also some brilliant bears made in England; and so we established The Heritage Bear Company.....We have sought out some of the finest bears from talented bear artists throughout the U.K. and brought them to you, so that you can enjoy getting to know them. We have also commissioned some unique special bears, only available from us. Give them to your best friends and family, or just enjoy and save them. Heritage Bears... The Bears of the Future.
